MORTGAGE LOAN PROCESSOR
POSITION REPORTS TO: V.P. Central Credit & Loan Servicing
LOCATION: Marquette or Wells
POSITION PURPOSE
This position is designed to be an integral part of the Retail Lending Team by providing assistance to Mortgage Loan Officers and members with the mortgage loan process including: applications, preparation of necessary documents, loan disbursements, and clerical and administrative support for quality assurance of loan files.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Reviews residential loan application files to verify that application data is complete and meets policy standards, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment.

Contacts credit bureau and employer to verify accuracy of information

Contacts specified companies to obtain title insurance, survey, and appraisal

Reviews loan application forms; submits mortgage loan application files for underwriting approval

Prepare discharges for paid in full loans.

Balance payments, work with reporting Secondary Market loans

Works with escrow accounts disbursing payments for taxes and insurance. Assists with escrow analysis annually.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High school graduate or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum six months of similar or related experience in Credit Union or financial institution working with mortgage lending policies and procedures
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- This position requires a high level of attention to detail, as the impact of errors can be significant
- This position requires a significant level of trust and diplomacy in addition to normal curtesy and tact
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional appearance, dress, and attitude
- Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment including adding machine, copy machine and telephone
- Willingness to collaborate and assist

PART-TIME TELLER
$14-$19.19
POSITION REPORTS TO: Lead Teller / Branch Manager
POSITION PURPOSE
The primary focus of this position is to provide quality service in daily teller operations while selling a full range of credit union products and services to existing an prospective members. Employee will be responsible for the custody and control of currency and negotiable instruments. Responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for members in person, via phone, and through the mail including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances. Balances each day's transactions and verifies cash totals. Performs specific assigned side jobs including various clerical and receptionist functions, and assists other staff as required. Serves members promptly and professionally.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High school graduate or equivalent.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Excellent Interpersonal skills including courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.
