SUPPORT TECHNICIAN II - Escanaba, MI  Marquette, MI  Munising, MI


POSITION REPORTS TO: Systems Administrator


Serve as a key point of contact and technical support for end user computer systems and other technology across all locations. Assist Systems Administrator as needed for general administration of the environment, including as a backup for routine server and networking administration and other critical day to day functions.


  • Provide excellent service to end users. Troubleshoot issues and maintain hardware and software for workstations and peripheral devices, including networked devices such as printers, scanners, and mobile devices such as laptops, iPhones, and iPads
  • Assist in developing documentation and building knowledgebase for IT systems and critical workflows. Manage and organize helpdesk tickets, prioritizing where appropriate and engaging other resources when necessary.
  • Assist other IT staff in routine day to day administration of the environment including supporting ancillary systems such as security, surveillance, and building access systems.
  • Assist in IT and related projects.
  • Provide end user training to help develop their computer skills in existing programs and guide users through technology upgrades and new technology implementations.


EXPERIENCE: Three to five years of similar or related experience. Experience with financial institutions is preferred. 

EDUCATION: A college degree or equivalent experience in business systems, computer science, information systems, or a related field. 


  • Experience with enterprise Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Desire to learn and rapidly develop new skills via online and in-person training.
  • Strong IT skills including workstation and peripheral support.
  • Basic understanding of networking and client/server architecture.
  • Knowledge of secuirty systems such as VPNs, firewalls, anti-virus, spam filters, encryption software, and vulnerability management is a plus. 
  • Basic scripting or programming skills with the ability to learn proprietary programming languages is a plus.

POSITION REPORTS TO: Lead Teller / Branch Manager


The primary focus of this position is to provide quality service in daily teller operations while selling a full range of credit union products and services to existing an prospective members. Employee will be responsible for the custody and control of currency and negotiable instruments. Responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for members in person, via phone, and through the mail including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances. Balances each day's transactions and verifies cash totals. Performs specific assigned side jobs including various clerical and receptionist functions, and assists other staff as required. Serves members promptly and professionally.


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High school graduate or equivalent.

AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES: Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.

PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Active work; standing, reaching, kneeling, stooping, bending and manipulating small and large objects most of the time. Requires occasional lifting (>25 lbs).
